Rui Zhou
Rui Zhou is currently a trainee of Global Supply China Management at Signify (pre-known as Philips Lighting). She received her MSc degree in Management Science & Engineering from Donghua University in 2020. She holds BSc degrees in E-business and Business English from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics as an outstanding graduate in 2016. She was selected from nationwide graduates for the Chinese Government Scholarship in 2017. With this scholarship, she was sponsored for a 12-month high-level academic research at Mississippi State University, focusing on supplier risk mitigation.
Rui Zhou enjoys doing research and tackling challenges. She is interested in operational research using mathematic programming, with an emphasis on stochastic programming. As a graduate, she devoted herself to research on supply risk management and the operation of integrated energy systems with the building cluster. She has written three research papers, which will be or are submitted to journals such as Omega-International Journal of Management Science, Applied Energy, and International Journal of Production Research.
